Tristin + Tyler’s Threads: White Jeans

You know I always say that it's SO easy to shop for gals because brands make such a variety of clothing styles, patterns and textures for girls. For boys….not so much. I make it a point to do things with Tristin + Tyler that most parents won't do with boys because I just have to switch it up!  Take white denim for instance. Yes, I know, you're asking "am I crazy to put boys in white jeans?" The answer is: yes, I am. Now that the boys are older, I can go a little "over the top" and style the boys in white jeans for a lunch date or audition. Why not? Now, you won't see them in white denim on a play date to the ice cream shop, but when they have to hang with mom or attend a meeting – I can go crazy! Don't they look ready for a Spring outing? LOVE!

Plus these looks are super easy, try it out. I personally don't like white jeans with black shoes, but if you have brown or blue shoes, or white with details like Tristin Stella sneakers, you've got it made. What do you think about white clothing on kiddos? Totally against it, or all for it – for the right occasion?

Yep, the warmer weather is finally here and it's time to figure out what fun activities to do in the city. When it comes to treats, there are tons of places to grab a cone, but I haven't found a spot that quite compares to Popbar. This cool gelato spot in the west village let's you get creative and customize your own popsicle! Go inside Popbar in this fun episode of What's Up, City Kid?! above.  If you don't see it above, click HERE and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to T+T's YouTube channel to receive all of Tristin + Tyler's videos right in your inbox!  Happy weekend!

Tristin + Tyler Featured On: Better Connecticut TV!

It’s Spring Time and it’s also Earth Month, so every year around this time we try to think up some fun, easy craft ideas utilizing recycled or upcycled materials. So instead of throwing away things like an empty water bottle, wine cork or scraps of construction paper, Tristin + Tyler transform them into something new.Β  We headed to one of our favorite TV programs, Better Connecticut, to share what we came up with this year including, a cute chicken craft made from scraps of construction paper, plastic water bottle art and my personal favorite: a lady bug pin and straw identifiers made out of milk jug plastic! Check out Tristin + Tyler’s segment below (or HERE if you can’t see it below), and stay tuned for full tutorials next week! Happy Weekend!

Easter Quick Craft: Glitter Easter Box

Happy Easter! I hope you are all spending time with family and friends! Here’s a super quick DIY. I’m sort of tired of Easter baskets, been getting them and giving them my entire life so I found this awesome glitter box in Michael’s craft store (here’s a similar one) that came in different colors so I had to have it. These little boxes are also awesome for birthdays or other parties and they are super cheap. Definitely check them out. See the full tutorial below and enjoy the rest of the weekend and if your kiddos are on Spring break like Tristin and Tyler, I hope you’re going somewhere fun! xo, Tiffany

Scissors + Glitter Box + Toys and candy + Pink and White Foam Core + Elastic + Glue Gun (not pictured)

(Side note: The bunny ears don’t stay upright on their own, so you can glue a small piece of elastic from the back of each ear from the middle of ear to the bottom of the ear to keep them upright).
