Halloween Yacht Party with TICKLE WATER

We love being one of the first to find out about cool new products, and then sharing it with the world! It's our job, isn't it? Well, we never want to disappoint, so say hello to Tickle Water, sparkling water for kids (and adults!). We were invited to a fun Halloween-themed party on a yacht to celebrate the launch of this unique brand. We are big fans already!

Love the packaging, the flavors and the fizz. The brand was created by mom Heather McDowell to encourage kids to drink water with a bit of a "tickle" for kids throats. Genius! If you have a kid that doesn't like to drink water, this may be your ticket! Check out a few pictures from the event below and then check out where you can find the product here.

newyear 2015 final

I am not big on new year's resolutions, and before kids, I really didn't take each new year as a time to re-assess goals for the upcoming year. But after I had these two gorgeous little handfulls, each year brings so much happiness and joy to my life that I am forced to set goals for our famly, our small business and our health. I'm so excited about what's to come and I thank each and every one of you who hang out with us here at!!! Get ready for some fun stuff coming your way this year!!!

We wish you all a super happy, healthy and safe 2015!!

What's Cool: Playing with Food at Polarn O. Pyret

As you know, Tristin and Tyler LOVE to cook. They also love to eat, pretty much everything (!!) but I am big stickler on not allowing the boys to play with their food. Well, last weekend thanks to our friends at Swedish children's wear brand Polarn O. Pyret, we made a HUGE exception as we let kids get creative with healthy ingredients to launch Polarn O. Pyret's Festive Kitchen Collection

From adorable chef hats, aprons and clothing with animated healthy food characters, this collection will definitely inspire your little guy or gal to get in the kitchen and hopefully... eat their veggies! Definitely check out the collection and take a peek at how our friends at the event got creative! Even parents got in on the action! Does your kid like to cook?

What's Cool: Stouffer's Mac + Cheese

Tristin is literally the macaroni and cheese king in my household. He knows how to make it himself, and he's working on making it from scratch with three cheeses. I'm pretty impressed with his love for cooking, but I have been looking for a way to make his favorite meal a little more healthy. Enter, Stouffers. Thanks to The Moms, we were invited to Make Meaning (one of our favorite places to craft) to check out the Stouffers food truck, try macaroni and cheese and learn tips for adding a twist to family favorites from Chef Donatella Arapia. I loved Donatella's tips for sneaking healthy ingredients into everyday meals so kids will eat them. Tyler literally devoured mushrooms in his mac + cheese, in ten seconds flat -- and he's never eaten mushrooms before! I've always been a fan of Stouffers frozen meals, but I never really thought of adding more to the box with different ingredients. Using Stouffers to start, I now I have a few new recipes to add to my weekly dinner routine. Do you have a meal that is a family favorite that you make each week? Do you ever try and spice up old recipes with a pinch of something new?

What's Up, July?

Yea, I'm shocked too. It's officially JULY. JULY? Really? I feel like we just got into the summer and it's ending already. I am glad school is over for the boys though. 4th grade was pretty tough. I slowed down a lot on producing videos, photo shoots, etc. because the year was really taxing on them. I'm glad they get a break now - I get a break too - homework was hard on me as well!  Anyway, I look forward to a ton of fun in the sun. Here's what's up for July with Tristin + Tyler:

New Videos - We're taking a look at the coolest things to do in NYC with a Tristin + Tyler twist. You'll love these short videos with a big punch!

Cooking + Tutorials - As you know, the LOVE to cook, so we are sharing tips on recipes kids can make on their own! The boys also want to show you a few of their favorite hobbies.

Events + Giveaways - Yep, we've got a few cool events up our sleeve! Some are all about style, others, just about having fun. Either way, you'll want to join   in for a chance to have a good time, and win really fun prizes!!

Tell us below, what do YOU have going on this summer??
